Tori has had an entrepreneurial spirit since the early years of her childhood. Her first businesses included paid theatrical productions (put on for her parents), handmade cards, and online graphic design.
At the age of 14 she became a self-published author and began a career as a motivational speaker on writing. She spoke at Writers’ Conferences for children and adults, conventions, public schools and organization meetings, traveling around the country. Over the period of 4 years, she sold about 10,000 copies of her 9 books to national and international customers.
After college and a hiatus from writing and speaking, Tori began a fiber arts business and has since become a successful wool dealer and fiber artist, using networking skills to build a loyal customer base online.
Now, at the age of 28, she spends most of her time juggling her writing, fiber arts business and her young family of three kiddos 5 and under. She has been married to her husband Ben for nine years.
The wheels in her mind never stop moving, and Tori is ready to jump back into writing, speaking and encouraging other people to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams. She believes that a strong business model needs the right combination of out of the box thinking and a solid network.
Her motto for networking? “I have done my best if I am able to treat every person I encounter (whether customer or not) like they are worth my time.”
