Loren Else was a Minnesota high school basketball official for 34 years working at the highest level. Loren will discuss his experience as an official and the leadership skills he learned and developed on the basketball court.
Loren was awarded the Distinguished Service Award by the Minnesota State High School League in March of 2019 for his work as an official, mentor and leader in the Rochester Association. He was also selected as the Century College Outstanding Alumni of the Year for 2019.
Loren will tell stories and discuss how his life with a whistle assisted him in his personal life and in his leadership role within the U.S. Department of Justice.
